SNOW DAY!!!
We actually got the day off from school due to snow! (and we got it good!)
About 8-10 inches at this point, which is a lot for LI (and just a light dusting for CNY).
McKenna decided to sprinkle Granby with snow (which Nolan joined in on)...I guess Sedona decided early-on that she didn't like it, so she avoided them like the plague - Granby kinda just stood there (?)...'duh' is all I have to say.
The picture on the top left is of our neighbor, Bill who brought his snowmobiles out for the snow
(he has a house upstate, which he brings his snowmobiles to during the winter...don't get much use of them on LI).
We built the kids a little hill off of our swinset to slide down...and tried to be inventive since we don't have a sled.
First we tried some tupperware box tops (Nolan just couldn't get it...hence the picture on the bottom left below), and finally dug out Mom's snowboard from the shed (at least we got some use out of it...it's been YEARS since we went snowboarding :( ). That worked much better!

Big Kid Bunkbeds!
We got the kids these bunkbeds to replace their toddler beds,
and you can see in some of the photos that they were on the phone with Grandma
when I took the pictures. Nolan gets the top bunk, since he is the resident monkey...
but both of them love being on the top bunk!

Bowling!
We took the kids bowling last weekend for the first time, and they did great!
They barely made it 10 frames, but had fun rolling the bowling balls...
and McKenna beat Mommy (really!)
