Scar #2...

These photos may be too graphic for some audiences (Grandma and Grandpa)...McKenna fell going up the TWO STAIRS (not two SETS of stairs...literally TWO STAIRS) we have in our house, and put her top teeth through her bottom lip Monday night. So, she and I spent a couple of hours in the emergency room getting her sewn back together by the plastic surgeon. Her teeth went all the way through, so there were several layers of stitches...and I got to hold her down for them-just a few shots of local anesthesia and three of us to hold her down. I can't take much more of this...two scars (this and her nose in December) and only 1 1/2 years old. I hate to think what's down the road....

We hope the Easter bunny brought everyone lots of candy (because he didn't leave any candy at our house...shhh-just a few kitkats for Chris)! As you can see, the glasses were a hit-and most of the time Nolan and McKenna wanted the glasses sitting on top of their heads, instead of on their faces! The funniest of all is McKenna's interest in Nolan's new golf clubs. Nolan could care less about them, but McKenna actually gets some good hits-when she's not flailing the clubs around in the air...I can see a trip to the emergency room in our future (hopefully not another facial injury for McKenna)... what was the Easter bunny thinking?!
