McKenna's haircut...

I finally did it...I cut McKenna's hair. For those of you who had seen her recently, you know it was at at least down to the middle of her back. I cut between 4 and 5 inches off, and this is probably the best photo I have right now that shows how short it is. It looks really cute, and is MUCH easier to comb and wash...and she really doesn't seem to care either way!

Pumpkin Picking

We finally got out to go pumpkin picking this morning....and man, it was cold! We should've gone last weekend...it was 70 degrees! Oh well....I guess it's not SUPPOSED to be warm when you're picking pumpkins - I remember many of my costumes (punk rocker for about 4 years!) were ruined because I had to wear a COAT to go trick-or-treating...

Nolan asked me to take pictures of Harold the Helicopter stuck in a pile of butter, and Thomas the Train covered in butter (yellow play-doh=butter...you get it, right?)...he sure does have a great imagination!

and I thought I'd take a photo of McKenna to include in this post...but it took about 6 tries, because she gave me "the stink eye" for the first few photos, and it took us a few more after that to get a nice smile (tickling always helps, too!).
